Nail Diary #320

Happy almost Friday!!  Wow I can’t believe it is almost February already.  Time flies!

I guess I am sticking to the Valentine theme for the next few weeks.  I can’t get enough of hearts, love and kisses.

Ooh la la I have some super kissable tips to share with you.

I did a skittle mani this time; meaning total randomness on every nail.  I absolutely love skittles and typically when I do them it is because I am indecisive that day, haha.

Here is what I did on each nail:

On my thumb: Zoya pixie dust Arabella.  Arabella is the perfect shade of berry pink, love it.  I stamped on a lip image from Bundle Monster plate BM-303 using Square Hue Gibson Girl.  I love the contrast of these pinks together ♥.

Index Finger: Started with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nude Sand Storm, a perfect base for a shimmery pink top coat China Glaze Temptation Carnation (an oldie but goodie).  Then I stamped on some more lips using a Zoya holographic polish called Blaze. Oh so pretty.  Blaze stamped on like a dream.

Middle finger:  I used the same color combo as my index just stamped on single lip image instead.

Ring Finger:  Again started with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nude Sand Storm, a perfect base for Julep Love.  Love was from last years Feb Maven box.  It is a perfect topper all gold and pink pearly with hot pink micro glitters.  Then using Blaze again I stamped on a different lips kiss image from BM-H17.

Last but not least my little pinky nail:  On this nail I kept it sweet and simple using Zoya Arabella with a clear top coat.

What do you think of my kiss kiss nails.  I happen to LOVE them.

Happy polishing!

I have some lovely nails to show you today.  I am going to keep this short and sweet today as I am busy working on my next manicure and all the usual Sunday activities, laundry and such 😉

My pink base is Square Hue Gibson Girl this is from the SquareHue 1900 Decades Collection.  Love love love this pink, it is so perfect for this time of year.  To add some love I stamped on some WILD red hearts using BM-H18 plate and SquareHue red Fifth Ave.  Then I added my Zoya Matte top coat.  I really love how this manicure turned out.  Perfect for Valentine nails.

Happy polishing!

Hello Good Monday Morning!  Typically Mondays are my least favorite day of the week.  But today is exceptional; it is my birthday and I have the day off from work, yay!  I can finally get caught up on my nail post from last week and actually do a birthday manicure 🙂  My puppy Jax has been keeping me so preoccupied that I haven’t had the time to share my nails with you guys let alone redo them from last week!!  But I am happy to report my last manicure lasted almost a week with no chips, that has to be some kind of record.

I have some wild nails to show you.  I got my January SquareHue 1900 Decades Collection a few weeks ago.  As soon as I saw First Flight I knew that would be a perfect winter time color.   First Flight is a light grey high gloss creme polish with a slight frosty finish.  I knew this color would be a perfect base for some wild stamping.  Using Bundle Monster plate BM-223 I added the left most animal print image using Zoya holo glitter Payton. Payton is a fabulous dark purple holographic glitter polish.  I took a chance and tried stamping with it because I thought a holo animal print would be really cool on these long dreary winter days.  I have to say I was quite surprised it stamped really well.  I am very happy with the results.  And like I said it wore really well.  Ok since Jax is napping I am off to go play with some polish and make a birthday manicure.  Have a great day!!

Happy polishing!

Happy Weekend!!  I am behind on sharing this manicure with you guys.  My little puppy is cutting into my blog time.  He sure is keeping us busy, but in a good way.  It has been super cold here in Iowa this week.  Tuesday we even had a snow storm.  So my inspiration this time was cold and snow.

I did a Pixie Dust skittle manicure, Zoya Pixies used:

Thumb: Liberty

Index: Sunshine

Middle: NYX

Ring: London

Pinky: Godiva

Love this wintery mix of colors together.  And the Pixies make it just glam enough to make me smile.  So of course I had to add some wintery stamping.  Bundle Monster plates used are BM-H02 and BM-323.  I just alternated the snowflake images to keep it real.  Mostly I used my Konad white to stamp but here and there I added some blue flake layers with my Bundle monster stamping polishes.

Enjoy, hope you have a great rest of the weekend.  Stay warm!!

Happy polishing!

I hope you guys had a fantastic New Year!  Mine consisted of puppy play and movie watching on the couch.  Very lame, just how I like it.  Now just because my night was lame doesn’t mean my nails were lame.

For my Blue Year’s Eve nails I was rocking my new Zoya Pixie Dust Nori.  Nori is a magical sapphire blue Pixie Dust from the 2014 Zoya Wishes Collection.  I literally fell in love with this blue polish; the holo glitter bits makes Nori to die .  Plus a bonus no top coat needed.  This electric sapphire blue does not dry matte and it is not super textured.  The blue jelly base is a bit sheer but it builds well and looks perfect with three coats.

I am so glad I added this polish to my pixie dust collection!  But don’t wait if you love Nori get her soon as I heard the Pixie Dusts are being retired in 2015, gasp!!!

Happy polishing!
