I have found magic in a bottle. This polish is amazing. She is a color shifter … from blue to purple to a lil bit in between but not only that KB SHIMMER's Rollin with the Chromies is also HOLO!! AHHHHH I DIE. This polish looks amazing in natural light shifting from one color to the next but in the SUNLIGHT she comes alive, get your sunnies out she is gonna blind you (in a good way).

Nail Diary #411

November 16, 2016

A few weeks back I had some time to kill so I attempted to water marble.  Colors I marbled are for a fun fall look are:

  • VINTAGE OPI Burning Love; a metallic orange
  • Finger Paints Fall-ing for you; a metallic teal
  • Square Hue Baby,Baby,Baby; a metallic grape (which appears lighter in the marble)
  • Square Hue Sandstone; a shimmery duo pink/gold hue
  • My undies is Sally Hansen Petal Pusher; a nude pink

To simplify the marble process I used a Pueen Latex tape barrier…ahhhhhhMazing!  Total time saver.  I feel like my marble turned out ahhhhh so so.  I have done worse; I have also done better.  I guess I need to keep practicing; with the latex barrier I may be so inclined to do so.

Nail Diary #406

September 29, 2016

I don’t often get that excited about my nail art.  But this turned out so perfect; I am in love!  I bet you FALL in love also ❤

Started with a retro OPI polish called DS GLOW, Glow is a golden brown almost copper foil like polish.  It is a perfect back drop for some fall stamping.

Last week I splurged an ordered a couple Pueen stamping plates so I was super excited to try one out.  Using Pueen Nature Lover plate 01 I stamped on some autumn leaves using Konad black stamping polish.  This alone was really pretty but a while back I picked up some Wet n Wild jelly (Candy gloss nail tint) polish from Walgreens so I though why not give the lead light technique a try, jellies are perfect for this type of manicure.  Wet n Wild jellies are Floral Support the red and One Grape or Another is the purple.  I didn’t have a green Wet n Wild jelly so I used my Zoya Frida for a teal green leaf.  I just used my dotting tool and filled in the leaves with the jelly polish.  The jelly polish is a tint so it dries perfect within the lines of the stamp.

Ooooh em geeeeeee forgive me but I LOVE how these turned out.

I did not get a proper pic in the sun; but it is just absolutely gorge in the sunlight.  Glow shimmers under the jellies ❤

Nail Diary #395

August 1, 2016

This manicure started as a nude/neon gradient.  Using Zoya Cala and China Glaze Celtic Sun(neon) I did some sponge nail art, I thought it turned out super cute.  A nude nail with a pop of color on the tip is always fun.  And neon is a perfect summer hue.

Nude with a pop of neon

After one day of my nude/neon I just had to add a stamp.  Using Bundle Monster plate S110 and Zoya Liv an orchid purple polish I stamped on random images over my nude/neon.  This really turned out cute.  I felt like “OM” yoga nails; this look is very zen.   Honestly I really had a hard time taking it off because it was cute.

Nail Diary #394

July 25, 2016

Hey all!  I have a fun neon look to share this time.  All the neons I used this time are China Glaze polishes.  Quick neon tip: first I started with white undies so my neons would have that neon POP.

To get this look I did a Tri-sponge technique alternating three neons on every other nail.  Color combos are as such:

Pinks/orange/yellow called Love’s a Beach/Japanese Koi/Celtic Sun                                                                 Greens/Blues/Purples called In the Lime Light/Turned up Turquoise/Dune Our Thing

Basically I sponged on the tri-color combos and alternated nails; just that easy.  I am really happy with how the neons blended together on each nail.  Then I added a funky stamp from Bundle Monster + Sloteazzy BM XL210 blogger designed images.  I love how the swirl looks on the neons; super fun for summer.  I also used a matte top coat to finish.

Hope all your neons are popping!!!  ❤
