Naked nails alert. Just kidding 😂. Did ya know Zoya has a naked manicure set that gives the illusion of fabulous naked nails, oh my goodness!!!
First I started with the NM lavender perfector to even out color. The second set to my naked manicure is the pink perfector with NM white tip perfector. I absolutely love this Zoya Naked mani set; you really can't go wrong with it.
To add some spice to my naked nails I stamped on a couple rose images from Pueen nature lover 01 stamping plate. For a splash of color I used Wet n Wild Floral support red candy gloss nail tint.
Pretty happy with how these turned out; got me feeling all rosey🌹.

Happy polishing!

Eck spiders!!!!  I am super scared of spiders, so this is a perfect Halloween mani for me.

My two identical nails are my index and middle.  For these I used glitter base Square Hue Night Fever.  In black I stamped on spiders from MM11 Messy Mansion plate.  Then I used Wet n Wild Floral Support a jelly red over the top of the stamp.  These are the same polishes I used on my thumb but I used a Bundle Monster black widow stamp instead from bundle Monster BM-XL208.

My ring and pinky fingers have a Square hue black base called Iron Horse.  On my ring I added Night Fever glitter and stamped on a white spider web from Pueen Halloween Party 01 plate and a black spider from bundle monster plate BM-013.

On my pinky I added another spider web and spider from BM-H07.

The glitter glitz with the spiders is a fun twist on a scary Halloween mani.

I don’t often get that excited about my nail art.  But this turned out so perfect; I am in love!  I bet you FALL in love also ❤

Started with a retro OPI polish called DS GLOW, Glow is a golden brown almost copper foil like polish.  It is a perfect back drop for some fall stamping.

Last week I splurged an ordered a couple Pueen stamping plates so I was super excited to try one out.  Using Pueen Nature Lover plate 01 I stamped on some autumn leaves using Konad black stamping polish.  This alone was really pretty but a while back I picked up some Wet n Wild jelly (Candy gloss nail tint) polish from Walgreens so I though why not give the lead light technique a try, jellies are perfect for this type of manicure.  Wet n Wild jellies are Floral Support the red and One Grape or Another is the purple.  I didn’t have a green Wet n Wild jelly so I used my Zoya Frida for a teal green leaf.  I just used my dotting tool and filled in the leaves with the jelly polish.  The jelly polish is a tint so it dries perfect within the lines of the stamp.

Ooooh em geeeeeee forgive me but I LOVE how these turned out.

I did not get a proper pic in the sun; but it is just absolutely gorge in the sunlight.  Glow shimmers under the jellies ❤

Happy Hump day!  Yay, half way to the weekend and not too mention just a couple days away from Halloween.  I am just a little behind sharing my Halloween nails with you all.  So I think I am going to have to share a mani every day until Halloween.  So, sorry in advance for Halloween nail overload; this what happens when you procrastinate and then all the sudden October is almost over.

This one is super fun.  I have been having fun trying to perfect my water marbling skills.  This is a glow in the dark spooky marble.

Colors used are:  My base is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri white OMGhost.  Which I am totally freaked out because this is my favorite underwear for nail art and the bottle is almost empty, ECK!!!!  Why is it so hard to find quick dry whites?  #NAILPOLISHPROBS!  Anyhow OMGhost was the base for Sinful Colors Glow in the Dark, and yep that is the name how original huh lol.

My marble colors are:  Wet n Wild green Stand the test of lime, Wet n Wild orange The Clock strikes Orange and Sinful Colors dark purple Let’s Talk.  Turned out pretty cool; super stoked that I am getting better with each marble!

Glow in the Dark water marble

Of course I had to stamp it:

GITD Halloween nails

I added a Trick or Treat image from Messy Mansion plate MM22 and some CREEPY eyes from bundle monster plate BM-H08.

I love how these turned out.

Funny story I did them just in time for the haunted house we went to a few weeks ago.  As I was walking through the black light room I could not stop staring at my glowing talons!!  HAHA

Hello polish lovers!  I hope you are all having a fabulous pre fall weekend.  It is absolutely beautiful in Iowa this weekend.  Yesterday we got out to ride the four wheeler all day; so much fun.

Between parenting, working, exercise, and atv riding I am so behind on blogging my nails.  Oh my I think I am like five to six manicures behind.  I am lucky to get my nails painted let alone sharing them with you guys.  A few Sundays ago I had some time on my hands so I decided to try my hand at water marbling.  I must say water Marbling is 100% easier with the amazing latex barrier; it really makes clean up time a lot shorter.  With that being said water marbling is still by far the most challenging polish technique for me.  This time it wasn’t perfect but then again it wasn’t horrible either.  Once the weather stays cooler I will try practicing this technique a little more.

Marble Mess

How I got this look:

Base color on all nails Maybelline Color Show Lavender Lustre.  This is a holo purple silver polish.

I used cheap polishes polish this time for my marble; Wet n Wild Toxic Apple a dark metallic blur-purple and Pure Ice sheer shimmer finishes Bedtime(magenta) and Busted(lilac/pink).  I just alternated the colors in my room temp cup of water swirl and dip.

I can’t wait to have the time to try more water marbles.  I think it will be fun to do some Halloween or fall color combos.

Have a great week!!

Hello to another Mani Monday.  Whew boy was it hard to get going this morning, nothing a little coffee couldn’t cure though.

Have you ever seen a water marble manicure?  Water marble nails look so cool!  Have you ever tried to do a water marble manicure?  I have, it is hard to do and messy.  I have yet to master that technique!!

I am an avid instagram stalker of the nail polish divas out there ( follow me if you want @am1e).  Last week @ermahgerdperlish had this amazing water marble mani.  I was like omg I just died and went to nail polish heaven.  But then I realized she didn’t actually do the water marble technique.  That’s when I knew then I just had to try this marble decal technique.

I had no idea if this would work for me but I just went for it and I could not be more happy with the technique or the results.  WIN!

Here is what I did:

Wet N Wild Marble decal manicure

How to DIY marble decal manicure:

1) Start with a plastic bag or parchment/wax paper.  I used parchment paper for mine.  Colors I used to marble are Wet n Wild:  Vampy red metallic Under your spell, True red metallic Rudy-dolph, and gold metallic Deadly Dose.  This combo is just perfect for a fall manicure.  So first I put down a fair amount of the gold polish in the size I wanted for my decal.  Then I did drops of all the colors and swirled them together as evenly as I could with a toothpick…repeat ten times.  Then wait, and wait and wait.

2) Once the polish has dried it should lift right up from the parchment paper, see above.  If it doesn’t lift off smoothly it is not dry, wait some more.

3) All my nails had on my standard nail envy base coat.  Right before I applied my decals I put on a clear coat to act as my glue.  I gently put on the marble decal one nail at a time.  Carefully push decal on evenly; I made sure to get on all the sides and I even tried wrapping my tips a bit.  Then carefully cut off access with tiny scissors or use a cuticle stick.  I used my detail brush dipped in polish remover to take off any access polish around the nail and on the cuticle.  Topped off with my seche vite fast dry top coat.

4) Is the final look.  I did add a matte top coat for this picture because the marble effect really stood out as a matte.  I found this way to be a lot easier than a water marble.  Don’t get me wrong this was still time consuming but totally doable; patience is definitely needed.

I cannot wait to try this technique with all kinds of color combos.  I am so glad I saw this technique on IG last week.
