Eck spiders!!!!  I am super scared of spiders, so this is a perfect Halloween mani for me.

My two identical nails are my index and middle.  For these I used glitter base Square Hue Night Fever.  In black I stamped on spiders from MM11 Messy Mansion plate.  Then I used Wet n Wild Floral Support a jelly red over the top of the stamp.  These are the same polishes I used on my thumb but I used a Bundle Monster black widow stamp instead from bundle Monster BM-XL208.

My ring and pinky fingers have a Square hue black base called Iron Horse.  On my ring I added Night Fever glitter and stamped on a white spider web from Pueen Halloween Party 01 plate and a black spider from bundle monster plate BM-013.

On my pinky I added another spider web and spider from BM-H07.

The glitter glitz with the spiders is a fun twist on a scary Halloween mani.

I don’t often get that excited about my nail art.  But this turned out so perfect; I am in love!  I bet you FALL in love also ❤

Started with a retro OPI polish called DS GLOW, Glow is a golden brown almost copper foil like polish.  It is a perfect back drop for some fall stamping.

Last week I splurged an ordered a couple Pueen stamping plates so I was super excited to try one out.  Using Pueen Nature Lover plate 01 I stamped on some autumn leaves using Konad black stamping polish.  This alone was really pretty but a while back I picked up some Wet n Wild jelly (Candy gloss nail tint) polish from Walgreens so I though why not give the lead light technique a try, jellies are perfect for this type of manicure.  Wet n Wild jellies are Floral Support the red and One Grape or Another is the purple.  I didn’t have a green Wet n Wild jelly so I used my Zoya Frida for a teal green leaf.  I just used my dotting tool and filled in the leaves with the jelly polish.  The jelly polish is a tint so it dries perfect within the lines of the stamp.

Ooooh em geeeeeee forgive me but I LOVE how these turned out.

I did not get a proper pic in the sun; but it is just absolutely gorge in the sunlight.  Glow shimmers under the jellies ❤

Nail Diary #396

August 16, 2016

Oh my goodness it is mid August already, I can’t believe it…where has this summer gone?Well I have been so busy enjoying the end of the summer that I haven’t had a chance to share my manicures in a while…15 days exactly.  So I suppose I better get busy; I have quite the overflow on my table.  Somedays I don’t know why I still feel compelled to blog my nails every time but for some reason I keep doing it ❤

This summer I have picked up a ton of Sinful Colors.  Love the Kylie line and absolutely love the price!  This look is Sinful Colors Holly-Wood (Trend Matters satin).  Love this red; it is amazing on every skin tone, a must have for sure.  In this picture I did add a matte top coat on the thumb and index.  On my middle and ring finger I added a Sinful Colors polish called Devil’s Stare.  It is like it was made to go over Holly-Wood.  This jelly glitter is too die for perfection.  And just for fun on my pinky I did a Zoya Pixie Dust called Levi.  If you haven’t noticed I have been all about mixing finishes and colors.  I love the variety on my nails; mostly because I have so many colors I cannot just pick one, lol.

What do you think of this combo…hot hot hot right.  Perfect for a summer time mani.  Again that glitter jelly is perfection!!

October 5, 2015

Happy October!  This is my favorite month of the year!!  My nights and weekends are consumed with horror movies and ghost shows.  By November I won’t be able to sleep with the lights off, lol.

I really need to get my blogging act together; since I am behind on my sharing I don’t have any creepy Halloween nails to show you yet.  But I do have something else super cute to share tonight.  And really I think these could pass for Halloween nails.

I started with Square Hue Night Fever from the Aug 2015 collection.  Night Fever is a holo disco ball glitter.  Really this is a full coverage glitter but since I was still on jelly kick I decide to add Zoya Frida over the top of Night Fever.  As described on the Zoya website Frida can be best described as a sheer, dark, warm-toned teal blue with a build able jelly gloss finish.  So so so super glam over Night Fever.  So this concludes my jelly kick; for now!!  What do you think of jelly polishes?  I used to be scared of them but now I love layering them over designs and glitters.  Have fun with it and try to create something unique.

Happy polishing!

Hello fellow polish lovers!!

As mentioned in my last diary post this time I am sharing another Pixie Dust jelly manicure only this time it’s magical.

For this Pixie dust jelly mani I used a Zoya MAGICAL Pixie Dust called Bar.  As stated on the Zoya website Bar by Zoya can be best described as a glittery nude topaz in the best-selling ultra textured, matte, holographic Magical Pixie formula.  OMG like the ultra Pixe Dust Arianna I used in my last post Bar is absolutely gorgeous on its own but again I thought…what if I added a top coat; wait no scratch that what if I added a jelly polish as a top coat?  So I added Zoya Katherine…and um yep I totally still love this look.  Katherine is described by Zoya as a sheer, dark, red-toned aubergine, oxblood jelly polish which looks amazing over Bar.  I could not be happier with how this pixie dust jelly mani turned out.  I love the way the pixie dust glitters under the jelly polish on top, it is super MAGICAL.  I love this technique a lot.

Next time I will be trying another jelly polish over a super glitter polish hope you stop by again to check it out.

Happy polishing!

Hello happy hump day! I have some wild nails to share with you this time.

While shopping for a friends b-day present the other day I ran into the Sinful Colors neon collection at the local Walgreens.  HaHa funny story when I first saw these I thought awwww I don’t need any more neon polish so I quickly shopped for my friend and left.  Needless to say I went back in less than three hours and bought all the neon colors they had, 6 in total.  This collection is different due to the packaging, the bottles are actually covered so you don’t see the true color through the glass; odd I know.  That is why I was a little put off at first but then I decided I must try these neons for myself.

I decided to do a neon skittle jelly sandwich:

Thumbs: Orange/yellow neon Rays of bright

Index: Orange/red neon Vivid a try

Middle: pink neon Bright to the point

Ring: dark pink neon Bright B4 UR eyes

Pinky: Pink/Purple neon neON and on

I did use a white undie for these neons.  And just for fun since these are jelly like…I stamped them with animal print image from my newest Bundle Monster plate from Time machine collection BM-XL136 using black konad polish.  Then I added one last thin layer of polish over my stamp.  Like a cheetah skittle jelly sandwich 😉

Overall I am pretty happy with how these turned out; my only complaint is that my pinks are a little too similar but oh wells.

BTW I hope to stay on top of the blog, but be warned I have decided to join the local gym so I can get in some evening workouts.  I have some (ok lots of) stubborn pounds I am trying to go after so if my posts seem kind of sparse that is why.  My intentions are to work this fat off, keep fab nails and keep blogging plus all the regular normal day to day stuff so wish me luck.  I feel like I can do it all 🙂  Burn baby Burn; bye fat bye.

Happy polishing!

Hello I have a fun neon pop manicure to share with you tonight.

This is a 3:2 mani.

For my 3: pinky, index and thumbs I sponged on China Glaze neon green I’m with the lifeguard and neon blue Towel Boy Toy.  Then I added some fun neon chunky glitter that I picked up a few weeks ago China Glaze Can I get an untz untz from the 2015 Summer nights Collection; which is full of neon blue, green and a pop of fuchsia hex glitters all in a clear jelly base.

For my 2: I did my middle and ringers white using Sally Hansen insta-dri white OMGhost, my favorite white underwear because it goes on awesome and dries super fast.  Perfect base for Can I get an untz untz.  I love how this glitter POPS over the white undies.

This is a perfect summertime manicure.  Nothing better than neon in the summer.

Happy polishing!
