Nail Diary #409

Happy Halloween!  WOW!  This month has flown by…I haven’t even had time to share all my ghoul Halloween nails.  Unfortunately, I have a sick kiddo home from school today so I have a moment to summarize what I have failed to share with you all this month.  I had some pretty fun manis this month;  I love Halloween nail art.  Wish I had more time to share with you all.  If you follow my insta you would have seen them all in real time.  So this time rather than going into detail I will just share the photo and if you want to know specific colors and stamping plates just ask in the comments and I will share.  I feel like this makes more sense rather than sharing them all in a separate blog posts – blowing up your inbox.

Here are my Pixie Dust Jack-O-Lanterns

Here are my creepy ZOMBIE nails…they’re coming to get you Barbara LOL!!

Here are my blood splatter murder nails

Last but not least here are my kitty claws nails–which went perfect with my simple kitty costume.  I love this matte cat claw look.

Which look is your favorite?

Hope you have a great holiday—sadly I’ll miss October as it is my favorite month but bring on November!!

Happy polishing!

Nail Diary #366

October 28, 2015

Happy Hump day!  Yay, half way to the weekend and not too mention just a couple days away from Halloween.  I am just a little behind sharing my Halloween nails with you all.  So I think I am going to have to share a mani every day until Halloween.  So, sorry in advance for Halloween nail overload; this what happens when you procrastinate and then all the sudden October is almost over.

This one is super fun.  I have been having fun trying to perfect my water marbling skills.  This is a glow in the dark spooky marble.

Colors used are:  My base is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri white OMGhost.  Which I am totally freaked out because this is my favorite underwear for nail art and the bottle is almost empty, ECK!!!!  Why is it so hard to find quick dry whites?  #NAILPOLISHPROBS!  Anyhow OMGhost was the base for Sinful Colors Glow in the Dark, and yep that is the name how original huh lol.

My marble colors are:  Wet n Wild green Stand the test of lime, Wet n Wild orange The Clock strikes Orange and Sinful Colors dark purple Let’s Talk.  Turned out pretty cool; super stoked that I am getting better with each marble!

Glow in the Dark water marble

Of course I had to stamp it:

GITD Halloween nails

I added a Trick or Treat image from Messy Mansion plate MM22 and some CREEPY eyes from bundle monster plate BM-H08.

I love how these turned out.

Funny story I did them just in time for the haunted house we went to a few weeks ago.  As I was walking through the black light room I could not stop staring at my glowing talons!!  HAHA

Nail Diary #212

Sunday October 6, 2013
Hello good evening.
So I must confess…I didn’t blog my last mani. I know I know naughty polish blogger. I just didn’t love it. I wore it but I didn’t have the heart to share it. Mr am1e says that was a mistake. He thought that they looked cool and very spooky. Does this mean I am getting blog burn out?? Well if I was it has gone away for now.
I can’t wait to show you what I did tonight. I def got my blog vibe back with this one.
Colors used:
Pinky, index and Thumb: China Glaze texture polish Toe-Tally Textured. A pumpkin orange totally perfect for a Halloween mani. I must say at first I loathed the thought of textured polish, but I have since changed my mind. It totally grew on me and I love adding a stamp to it.
Middle and ring: China Glaze Def Defying with Julep Sofia on top. Sofia is a fun glow in the dark glitter green, ohhhhh ahhhhh.

So it’s October and of course I had to make this all about Halloween. To make them more festive I added some fun stamps.
On the orange textured polish I added a pumpkin stamp from my bundle monster plate BM-224 with my Sinful Colors Black on Black polish. I love this creepy jack-o-lantern image with vines.
On my green nails I added a couple different stamping images from BM-H07. First I added the far left Halloween word image using Sugar Cube a white Salon Perfect polish which is great for stamping.
Once that dried I added a witch hat n spider image from that same plate using Black on Black again.

Ok so layering stamps may be my new obsession, I love love love this look. It adds a whole new dimension.
Hope you all have a great week and I will strive not get blog burn out again.

Thanks for stopping by!! ❤❤

More Halloween nails… The only reason I am not taking this off is bc they are ugly. Reminds me of ugly zombie nails.
Got this Julep glow in the dark polish on sale the other week, yeah I know I am a sucker for a sale. It was buy one get one free. I choose the black crack for my 2nd bottle. Got them just in time for Halloween.
They are Julep’s GITD Sofia and black crack Ursula .
Sofia has some green glitter in the mix. It’s not very pretty but it glows all though not that well or for very long.
Only a couple more days left til Halloween, I intend to do at least one more Halloween mani.
