Hello from Iowa. More snow for us….ugh I am SO ready for spring!
Tonight’s nails are China Glaze Ingrid on thumb, middle and ring. On pinky n pointer is China Glaze For Audrey. Reminds me of Tiffany Blue. Igrid has a gold shimmer so I decided to glam up For Audrey
with Juleps Melissa a white teal MOP top coat. I just love Melissa she is beautiful.
I hope you all are having a great week. I have been missing my mom so these posts are very difficult but I am making myself…for some sort of normal. I am hoping this hole in my heart heals soon. I don’t want to give up my blog…and I know I will never give up painting my nails. I just need time…I miss her so, I can’t help it.

TGIF!! Today is a holiday at my regular job. Cabin Fever Friday. What a fun name for a holiday. So while hanging out at home alone I decided rather than cleaning I would play with polish and get caught up my dVr!! YaY my favorite things to do.
Side Note: Have u seen the show The Following…wow what a great show!!

On to the polish, I got these colors from Walgreens this week…on sale of course.
Today I picked pink Sinful Colors Cotton Candy from the new Sugar Rush line, just 99cents with my rewards card!! Can’t beat 99 cents a bottle.
I’m pretty in pink ~~ very pepto-y. πŸ™‚
On my pinky n ring fingers I added a wet n wild color Frosted Over over my Cotton Candy. I got this gem at Walgreens it’s called a Coloricon. These bottles are very interesting. It’s a pearly milky glitter polish.
Once that all dried I added my Julep matte top coat.
I just love the matte look.
Btw I updated my polish stash today (yes I have so many I put them on a spreadsheet) ugh I know I need meetings. Anyways I am over 500 bottles…535 to be exact. Shhhhh don’t tell anyone I have that many, lol.

These are my nails from last night. Finally doing a Try it Tuesday!! IKR it’s been forever.
This is a complex Julep polish. I believe it’s from my December Maven box. I remember seeing this polish and thinking I JuST had to have it!!
This a duo-chrome polish is called Julia.
It’s purple no wait it’s metallic gold. Either way it’s gorgeous. Julia is a metallic glittery polish. She changes color depending on angle.
I can’t help but to stare at my nails with this polish on…
Happy Hump Day!! Hooray we are half way to the weekend!! πŸ™‚
Stay polished.

I have a jelly sandwich, and you will be green with envy when you see it…wink wink.
So tonight I tried a FREE Orly polish Sally’s Beauty Supply gave me last week when I spent at least $3.50. It was so hard to choose just one but I settled on Green with Envy. I was surprised that this green tealy cream was very jelly like.
I had my OPI Nicole A gold winters night from the 2012 Kardashian holiday collection right next to GWE on my shelf and they looked like they were made for each other.
I didn’t plan on a jelly sandwich it just happened….it seemed like the right thing to do at the time.
So started with two coats of Green with Envy. Then I added A gold winters night on my ring finger. This is a gold glitter polish which also has holo bar glitters which really plays on the green polish. I loved it so much on my ring finger that I just kept adding it to each digit. Then it hit me…a Jelly sandwich would be cool. So I added another coat of GWE on my pinky, middle and thumb.
You can still see the Nicole glitter under GWE but it is very subtle. I love it. Kind of wish I would have did this mani closer to St Patty’s day, it would have been perfect.
Hope you all stay warm…is it spring yet??? We are expecting more snow this week, yay :/

I actually did these on the night of Thursday the 14th.
I found it hard to capture the true beauty of this color at first but the sun finally came out here in Iowa.
This Finger Paints polish is called Plum Startled.
This is from the 2012 fall of surprises line.
First time I have tried it. I must say I love it. It’s a plum purple with micro glitter finish. It’s gorgeous in the sunlight. I almost want to call it metallic plum. I see a blue finish depending on the lighting. I did do three coats.
I have had it on for three days now and no chips just minor tip wear.

Now to figure out what color to try next…so many polishes so little time πŸ™‚ A fun problem to have.

Monday February 11, 2013.
❀❀Another lovely mani❀❀ I just can’t help myself, I ❀ Valentine nails.
Last night I used another holo that came in my Feb Julep Maven box, Rebel. Rebel is a gorgeous silver holo polish. It was part of the IT girl collection. These Julep holo polishes are great bases for stamping because they dry so quickly and only 2 coats are needed for full coverage.
Once again I did Rebel on my index, ring n thumb.
I used the multi size heart stamp from my BM-317 plate. For the hearts on my Rebel I used Sally Hansen Red Carpet a beautiful red with micro red glitter.
I painted my pinky and index finger with a red China Glaze With Love. Once With love dried I used that same heart stamp using Rebel. I was a little nervous because I have never tried stamping with a holo polish before but it worked great. I am so pleased with the turn out.
I am just hoping for some sun here in Iowa so I can really enjoy the full effect of Rebel!!
Thanks for reading.

Calling this one Glitz n Roses… Haha
Super excited to share this with u guys.
I did these last night but I was hoping for sun today to get a great photograph, no such luck. Oh wells.

First let me say I just found my new ALL TImE favorite polish. It came in my Feb Julep Maven box. Ginger. OOOoooohhhhh Ginger is a gorgeous neutral holo polish. It was my add on. She is from the Bombshell collection. They call it sand. I love her!! I am a nut for holo polish anyways but Ginger is perfect.
I only needed 2 coats and it dried super fast, a perfect base for stamping. I did Ginger on my index, ring n thumb. Don’t ask me why but I am totally into the 3:2 combos lately. I think that way I get to use more colors, lol.
I used the rose stamp from my BM-323 plate. For the roses my SquareHue WarTime Romance was perfect. I used this in my last post, I am loving this color also. This polish is a perfect stamping polish.
So for even more glitz I painted my pinky and index finger with WarTime Romance for a good base color. Then I added Nicole OPI pink glitter polish Wear something spar-Kylie . Obviously from the kardashian collection.
I am loving this look… Perfect for February themed nails.
Thanks for reading.
