Nail diary #55 TaKe 2

Tuesday April 24th, 2012
HA! I figured out how to make fish scales. Drove me crazy all day thinking about it, jk.
I just used a stamp over last night’s mani. Konad Stamp BM-217. It is a tip stamp so I just layered the scales over each other…three different colors. Colors I used:
First OPI yoga-ta get this blue!, then Sally Hansen violet voltage and China Glaze turned up turquoise .
I think it turned out pretty cute. Check out last night’s post for my salt water fish picture I used for inspiration.
Oh by the way I created a Facebook fan page, Am1esNails so if you want please like my page…I will share quick tips, random nail pics and other nail polish ramblings.

Stay tuned for the next installment of the diary of a nail polish addict.

  1. Hi Amie,
Question: Have you tried any of the at-home gel polish systems like Gelish, Red Carpet or SensatioNail?

I am researching for an article on SensatioNail Gel polish I am writing for Examiner.com (and because I want to purchase something for myself). Let me know if you have any insight on Sensational products I could use in the article. If so, I can put a link to your blog in the article. Any help you could give would be great!

p.s…. I think you would do quiet well as an Examiner reporter/nail polish expert. If you are interested, I can get you more info about.
